Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

On the morning of Friday, Nov. 4, EMT and firefighter Jake Bicking was heading home after his shift when he was involved in a serious accident, announced a Baltimore Firefighters Union spokesperson. "We’re grateful for the firefighters & EMS providers who cared for our brother. We stand by Brother Bicking & his family now & throughout his long road to recovery", the statement continued. Detectives say Tyree Moorehead, 46, was armed with a knife on top of the woman in the intersection of N. Fulton and W.
