Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Attempted Baltimore Killer Charged After Late Spring Shooting A Baltimore man has been arrested in connection to a shooting late last spring, authorities say. Juan Foster, 42, is accused of shooting a 31-year-old man in the 3800 block of Tivoly Avenue on Wednesday, May, 11, according to Baltimore police. Investigators believes Foster shot the victim following a dispute. On Wednesday, Oct. 26, Warrant Apprehension detectives arrested Foster without incident in the Hyattsville, Maryland. Detectives transported Juan Foster to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.

Maryland Woman Charged With Attempted Murder After Shooting Man In Hand During Dispute A woman has been arrested after being accused of shooting a man during a dispute in Baltimore last month, authorities say. Kevia Purnell, 31, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 24, in the 1800 block of North Hilton Street in connection to the shooting of a 30-year-old man on Monday, Oct. 17, according to Baltimore police. Maryland Road Rage Driver Arrested After Pointing Gun At Others An armed Maryland man has been arrested after a road rage incident in Gambrills, authorities say. Mohamed Sall, 42, is accused of pointing a gun at others while driving in the area of Route 3 and Churchview Road around 5:15 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 5, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
