Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Election Day Tragedy: Couple Heading To Vote Killed By Vehicle Near Maryland Polling Place An elderly man and woman have died after being struck by a vehicle while walking to a polling place to go vote, reports Fox 5 DC. The collision that took the lives of the 70-year-old woman and 65-year-old man occurred around 7:30 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 8. The pair were crossing School Drive heading to Field Roads Elementary School in Gaithersburg to vote, continued the outlet. Magruder High School Bathroom Shooter Pleads Guilty To Attempted Murder A teenager has pleaded guilty to attempted first-degree murder after shooting a fellow student with a manufactured ghost gun in a Maryland high school bathroom, officials announce. Crane Operator Falls 30 Feet At Maryland Construction Site, Several Sent To Hospital At least one crane operator was injured after reportedly falling at a construction site in Silver Spring, authorities say.
