Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Attempted Murder Suspect Captured After Month-Long Search Through Baltimore: Police Police have arrested a suspect accused of shooting a man in Baltimore last month, authorities say.  Naeem Sekou, 36, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 15 after being connected to the shooting that occurred back in November, according to Baltimore police. Sekou is accused of shooting a 23-year-old man, leaving him with non life-threatening injuries in the late night hours of Tuesday, November 15th.  The victim was able to take himself to a hospital for treatment as a walk in patient.  Sekou has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.
