Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Prince George's County police are investigating the shooting that they say occurred in the 10000 block of Campus Way South in Largo around 11 p.m., Monday, Dec. 19. Shot In The Butt: Young Man Recovering After Baltimore Shooting A man is recovering after being shot in the buttocks in Baltimore overnight, authorities say. On Tuesday, Dec. 20, officers responded to a call of a shooting around 6:20 p.m., in the 2800 block of Spelman Road, according to Baltimore Police. When officers arrived to the location, they found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the butt. Baltimore Rapper Among Six Indicted For Racketeering After Several Women Killed A Baltimore rapper is one of six people who have been indicted on federal racketeering charges, including murder and murder-for-hire plots, reports WBFF. Attempted Murder Suspect Captured After Month-Long Search Through Baltimore: Police Police have arrested a suspect accused of shooting a man in Baltimore last month, authorities say. Naeem Sekou, 36, was arrested on Thursday, Dec. 15 after being connected to the shooting that occurred back in November, according to Baltimore police. Sekou is accused of shooting a 23-year-old man, leaving him with non life-threatening injuries in the late night hours of Tuesday, November 15th. The victim was able to take himself to a hospital for treatment as a walk in patient. Sekou has been charged with attempted first-degree murder.

$8,000 Reward Offered To Identify Suspects In Baltimore Murder Police are offering a large reward for information on the suspects responsible for the murder of a Baltimore man earlier this month, authorities say.
