Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Gordon Lambert Of Baltimore Dies, 36 A community is mourning the loss of a Baltimore father who passed away shortly before the holidays, according to an obituary. Baltimore native Gordon D. Lambert, Jr., 36, passed away on Monday, Dec. 12. He leaves behind his two children, Sean and Micaila, a sister, parents, and many other family members and friends, the obituary continues. Unruly Inmate Strikes Again After Assaulting Officers In Virginia A woman who had become combative with officers struck again and is facing additional charges after kicking an officer in the head, authorities say. Officers were attempting to transport Kristen Nicole Stephens, 34, around 11 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 21 to another medical facility when the attack happened, just days after she initially attacked officers on Monday, Dec. 19, according to Prince William County police. Gunman Strikes Innocent Bystander, Kills Baltimore Man In DC Police are asking for the public's help identifying a man suspected of murdering one and injuring another in DC. The suspect was caught on a nearby surveillance camera after the shooting around 1:20 a.m., Saturday, Dec. 17 in the 2400 block of 18th Street, Northwest, according to Metropolitan police.
