Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

1 Dead In South Brunswick Crash: Prosecutor A passenger in a vehicle that was escaping a crime scene was found dead after the vehicle crashed in South Brunswick Township, authorities say. The fatal crash occurred around 4:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 22 on Beekman Road at the intersection near Old Beekman Road, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor's office. Man Shot In Head Days Before Christmas In Baltimore Attack A young man is dead after being shot in the head in Baltimore this morning, authorities say. Police found the victim with a gunshot wound to the head shortly before noon on Friday, Dec. 23, in the 1600 block of East Eager Street, according to the Baltimore Police Department. Massive Trampoline Park Opens Another NJ Location A popular indoor trampoline franchise is adding another New Jersey location with a planned opening in Edison, reports NJ.com. Launch Entertainment announced plans for the Edison location with plans for construction to begin early next year. This will mark Launch Entertainment's second location in New Jersey, with the first in Deptford. Infamously Dangerous Road Takes Another Life In Prince George's County A woman is dead after crashing into a utility pole on an infamously dangerous road in Prince George's County, authorities say. The woman reportedly crashed into the pole after losing control of her vehicle while driving south on Indian Head Highway near Berry Road, around 2 a.m., Friday, Dec. 23, according to Prince George's County Police. Man Standing In Road Hit By Car In Prince George's County A man has died after being struck by a car in Suitland, authorities say. Prince George's County Police responded to the incident, which they say occurred around 11:30 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 22 in the 4700 block of Silver Hill Road. Initial investigation revealed that the driver of a sedan was traveling west on Silver Hill Road when they struck the pedestrian, who was standing in the roadway. Police Look For Armpit Shooter After Late Night Attack Injures One A man is recovering after being shot in the armpit overnight in Baltimore, authorities say. On Thursday, Dec. 22 around 10 p.m., officers responded to the 3700 block of Park Heights Avenue to investigate a shooting, according to Baltimore police.
