Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

The adult victim was reported underneath the train around 11:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue. The patient was able to be extracted from the tracks and rushed to a hospital with reportedly serious injuries.  Details surrounding the patient's current condition and extent of the injuries, or what led to the incident were not immediately available.

Maryland Teen Busted After Stabbing Victim's Leg During Argument About Money A Glen Burnie teenager has been arrested after stabbing a man in the leg during an argument about money, authorities say. Mason Hausmann, 19, is accused of the stabbing the man in the leg in the 200 block of Hollins Ferry Road in Ferndale around 4 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 4, according to Anne Arundel County police. Hausmann attempted to flee in a vehicle as officers arrived to the scene, and was taken in to custody without further incident. The victim was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
