Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Maryland Man Found 'Competent' After Killing Pharmacist Brother For Administering COVID Vaccine A Maryland man accused of killing his bother, sister-in-law, and elderly woman over an argument that the COVID-19 vaccine was being used to poison people has been found competent to stand trial, reports CBS News. Anne Arundel County Police Officer Busted For DUI After Crashing Into Tree An Anne Arundel County Police officer was charged for a DUI after being found crashed into a tree, officials confirm. PFC K. Accused Capitol Heights Killer Held On No-Bond Status After Being Caught For August Murder A Capitol Heights man has been arrested after being accused of the murder of a 22-year-old Washington, DC man authorities announce.
