Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Resident Arrested After Violently Stabbing Man To Death Inside Of Baltimore Boarding House A man accusing of violently stabbing a 43-year-old man to death in a boarding house in Baltimore has been arrested, authorities say. A resident of the house, Jayquann Bridgemann, 23, allegedly stabbed the victim in the abdomen inside of the house in the 1400 block of N. Central Avenue around 1 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5, according to Baltimore police. Rescue personnel rushed the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital were he died from his injuries a short time later. Elderly Maryland Man Killed After Violent Crash At Lothian Intersection An elderly Maryland man is dead after a horrific crash in Lothian earlier this week, authorities announce. Ronald Wayne Talbert, 78, was killed in the crash that happened shortly after 4 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5 on Route 4 at Lower Pindell Road, according to Anne Arundel County police. Washington DC Man Charged With Hyattsville Mall Murder That Killed Young Maryland Man A Washington D.C. man wanted in connection to a fatal shooting inside of a Hyattsville mall has been taken into custody, authorities announce. Virginia NAACP Leader Killed In Ambush Gang Attack During Turks And Caicos Vacation A Virginia NAACP leader was killed in an ambush attack while vacationing in the Turks and Caicos islands over the weekend by alleged gang members, according to multiple reports. Man Connected To Several Theft Investigations Caught Snooping Inside Montgomery County Vehicle Montgomery County police have arrested a 33-year-old man in connection to several theft investigations, authorities say. Eric Delonty Feggins was arrested following a brief foot chase after officers saw him rummage through a vehicle he was not supposed to be in, in the 8100 block of George Avenue on Friday, Sept. 30, according to Montgomery County police. Partial Service Restored To 40 Bus Routes In Maryland School District Families whose students are transported on one of around 40 bus routes with Anne Arundel County Public Schools will get partial relief after bus routes are scheduled to change later this month, officials say.
