Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Unidentifiably Charred Human Remains Found Inside Burning Vehicle Confirmed To Be Murder Victim The charred body found inside of a burning car in the middle of a Laurel field has been confirmed to be the victim of a homicide, authorities say. The victim, who was so badly burned that the race, sex, or estimated age could not be determined, is confirmed to have died of a gunshot wound. Woman Trapped Inside LaPlata House Fire Dies, Fire Under Investigation Fire Marshals are continuing an investigation into a fatal fire that claimed the life of a 59-year-old woman in LaPlata, authorities say. The victim was found trapped inside of the dwelling fire in the 1000 block of Suffolk Drive around 6:40 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 28, according to the Maryland State Fire Marshal.
