Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Man Sentenced After Carjacking Unsuspecting Woman Putting On Clothes In Maryland Parking Lot A man convicted of carjacking a woman at gunpoint while she was trying to get dressed was sentenced to 15 years in prison, officials announce. Anthony Millhouse, 40, was convicted of armed carjacking and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence back in April 2022 after attacking the unsuspecting woman on March 30, 2021, according to the Montgomery County State's Attorney's Office. Dead Body Found Behind Shed Of Virginia Business Under Investigation, Police Say The body of a man was found behind the shed of a local Woodbridge business, authorities say. Police responded to the 14100 block of Richmond Highway around 11:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 10 to investigate a death after a body was reportedly found in the area, according to Prince William police. Maryland Man Accused Of Beating, Stabbing Stepson To Death Captured By Police Police have arrested an Upper Marlboro man accused of stabbing his stepson to death over the weekend, authorities say. Prince George's County Detectives say that Jamie Porras, 68, stabbed Kelly McClary, 53, to death around 7 a.m., Friday, Oct. 7, inside of a home on Queen Anne Bridge Road. McClary was discovered with several apparent blunt force trauma and stab wounds, and was pronounced dead on the scene. Prosecutors Drop Charges Against Adnan Syed After Prison Release Prosecutors have dropped charges against 41-year-old Adnan Syed after a judge vacated his sentence for the 1999 killing of Hae Min Lee after it was ruled that the state violated a legal obligation to provide critical evidence that could have helped Syed's defense, reports WTOP. Montgomery County Distributes 50,000 Loaner Computers To Residents After $22.6M Grant Montgomery County will provide 50,000 loaner computers to low-income and senior County residents after receiving more than $22.6 million in Digital Equity Grants, officials announce.
