Albany Police began investigating Calvin Cross on Friday, Dec. 9, after receiving a tip that he had child pornography at his home on Picotte Drive, according to police. Detectives with the department’s Children and Family Services Unit subsequently discovered multiple images and videos in Cross' home depicting children between the ages of 7 and 12 engaging in sexual activity, police said. All eastbound lanes of I-495 will be closed in the towns of North Hempstead and Oyster Bay between Willis Avenue and State Routes 106/107 from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., according to transportation officials. Albany resident Na’eem Thompson was last seen Monday, Dec. 12, leaving his home on Mount Hope drive, according to Albany Police. He is described as a Black male standing 5-feet-9-inches tall and weighing 140 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair with blonde highlights.
