Watch: Late-Night Prowler Caught On Video Stealing From Long Island Woman's Car Police are seeking tips from the public after a late-night car prowler was caught on surveillance video entering a Long Island woman’s vehicle and stealing her belongings. The incident occurred at around 2 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 14, in Valley Stream, at a home on Lyon Street, according to Nassau County Police. Busy Duo Stole $15k Worth Of Merch From 14 Long Island Stores, Police Say Two men are behind bars after allegedly going on a shoplifting spree that netted them thousands of dollars in merchandise from numerous Long Island stores. Oreall Thomas, age 47, and Shaun Williams, age 52, both of Freeport, were arrested Monday, Dec. 12, on charges of grand larceny, Nassau County Police said. Truck Driver Flees After Southern State Crash In Hempstead Sends 2 To Hospital, Police Say A 37-year-old tractor-trailer driver is facing charges after he allegedly fled the scene following an early-morning crash on the Southern State Parkway that sent two people to the hospital. Missing Man's Car Found On Side Of Capital Region Road, Police Say Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man from the region whose car was found abandoned on the side of the road. Rensselaer County resident David Fearnley, age 45, was last seen Wednesday, Nov. 23, in Pittstown on Tamarac Road, according to the Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office.
