Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Baltimore Shooting Victim Fights For Life After Being Shot In Head, Suspect Arrested A Baltimore woman has been arrested after shooting a man in the head, leaving him fighting for his life, authorities say. Kanisha Spence, 43, was arrested on Sunday, Oct. 30 after shooting the 26-year-old victim in the head in the 1800 block of Washington Boulevard around 3:30 a.m., according to Baltimore police. The victim was rushed to the hospital where he is still alive but in grave condition.
