Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Murder Suspect Apprehended At Maryland Hotel Following Argument With 60-Year-Old Man: Police Investigators have arrested a Baltimore man accused of murder, authorities announce. Terrance Carter, 34, was located and arrested on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at a hotel in the 4700 block of Owings Mills Boulevard, according to Baltimore Police. Carter is accused of shooting and killing Steven Lamont Clark Sr., 60, after an argument in the 4200 block of Norfolk Avenue on May 22, 2020.  Carter was transported to Central Booking Intake Facility where he has been charged with first degree murder.
