Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Accomplice Charged After Robbing Apple Store With Gold Gun, Fleeing In Gold Cadillac A second suspect has been arrested in connection to the armed robbery of an Apple Store in Montgomery County, authorities say. Brianna Zigler, 27, of Oxon Hill was identified as a second suspect in the robbery of the store located in the 4000 block of Bethesda Avenue that occurred back in October, according to Montgomery County police. Mayor Brandon Scott Calls For Stricter Gun Laws After Baltimore Surpasses 300 Homicides In 2022 Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott released a statement after the city saw its 300th homicide of 2022 earlier this week. Man Shot In April Dies From Injuries, Marks 300th Homicide In Baltimore This Year A man who was shot in April who died from complications related to the shooting earlier this week marks the 300th murder in Baltimore this year, reports WBFF. The 25-year-old man died on Monday, Nov. 21, with his death being ruled a homicide the same day after being shot in the 3600 block of Lyndale Avenue on April 12, continues the outlet. Police ID Pedestrian Struck, Killed By Driver Near Maryland Medical Center Detectives are investigating a crash that took the life of a pedestrian in Montgomery County, authorities say.
