Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

The 78-year-old victim was attacked around 10 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 20, at the Church of the Redeemed of the Lord on Old York Road, continues the outlet. Churchgoers were able to detain the suspect until police arrived. Investigators believe that the suspect suffered a mental health crisis. The victim suffered minor injuries. 'Potomac River Rapist' Found Hanging By Sheets In Jail Cell Days Before Trial The man accused of being the Potomac River Rapist was found dead inside of his jail cell in Washington, D.C., according to multiple reports.  Giles Warrick was found by a guard doing a routine check shortly before 8 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 19. Warrick reportedly was found hanging from a sheet and pronounced dead around 30 minutes later, the reports continue. Suspect Arrested After Brutally Stabbing Stranger To Death In Oxon Hill Parking Lot A Clinton man has been charged in connection to a fatal stabbing in Oxon Hill, authorities say. Darryl Andre Jessie Scottland, 29, is accused of stabbing Anthony Taylor Sr., 47, in a parking lot in the 4900 block of Indian Head Highway around noon, Wednesday, Nov. 2, according to the Prince George’s County Police Department.
