Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Woman Charged For Attempted Murder Of Man Left With Severe Injuries In Baltimore A woman is in custody after being accused of seriously injuring a man in Baltimore earlier this month, authorities say. Saidah Williams, 29, was arrested on Thursday, Sept. 15 in the 7600 block of Lillian Hold Drive in Baltimore County after the shooting of a 31-year-old man on Thursday, Sept., according to Baltimore police. The victim is still in the hospital for treatment of serious injuries caused by the attack. Williams has been charged with attempted first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder and is being held at the Central Booking without bail.

Man Bearing 'Camp Auschwitz' Clothing During Capitol Riots Sentenced After Lack Of Remorse A Virginia man who wore a "Camp Auschwitz" sweatshirt and a "SS" t-shirt inside the US Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021 Capitol riots has been sentenced to 75 days in jail, according to multiple reports. Robert Packer pleaded guilty to a trespassing charge in January after images of Packer and his clothing inside of the Capitol went viral, gaining national attention as symbol of white supremacist and anti-semitic views, the reports state. Multiple Injuries Reported In Baltimore Boat Collision Multiple people have been reportedly injured in a boat collision in Bear Creek, authorities say. Marine units are in the process of bringing injured victims to shore after the collision that occurred near the 300 block of Authority Drive around 4 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15, according to the Baltimore County Fire Department. At least two victims have been transported to the hospital after with non life-threatening injuries after the boat ran into a marker in the creek. Units are reportedly clearing the scene.

Images Released Of Suspect Running Away From Seat Pleasant Murder Scene, $25K Reward: Video Detectives have released video of a murder suspect who fled the scene after killing a man in Seat Pleasant last month, authorities say. The suspect is pictured running from the 5700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Highway around 1 a.m., on Sunday, Aug. 14 after the shooting that took the life of LaDainain McMillian, 20, according to Prince George’s County Police. $7,500 Reward Offered For Critically Endangered Stolen Puppies After Mother Is Found Abandoned A critical search is on for vulnerable missing puppies that were stolen from their mother who had been transferred to a foster home after being found by the Humane Rescue Alliance(HRA), officials announce. The HRA rescued a pregnant dog, known as Godiva, in mid-July, and tended for her throughout her pregnancy. Godiva gave birth to seven puppies in early August and was transferred to a foster home for the puppies to experience their first weeks of life in a more ideal environment.
