Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Montgomery County K9 Unit Mourns Sudden Death Of Retired K9 A sad announcement for Montgomery County. Members of the Montgomery County Police K9 unit are mourning the loss of one of its retired K9 officers, K9 Harper. Retired K9 Harper began their K9 partner journey with partner  PO3 Chris Jordan in 2014. The faithful pair were responsible for several hundred deployments, and close to 200 criminal apprehensions as a part of the patrol and narcotics detector team. On the night of Saturday, Sept. 10, Harper is said to have suffered a "serious medical emergency", passing away after complications. Rest in peace, Harper.

Gordon Staron, 33, was taken into custody on Thursday, Sept. 8 in connection to the killing of Keith Bell, 63, according to Baltimore police. Bell was found brutally stabbed to death on Tuesday, Sept. 6 around 2:30 a.m., in the 1400 block of East Monument Street after offices received a report of an unconscious man lying in the street. At Least One Injured In Early Morning Rockville Basement Fire At least one person is injured following an early morning basement fire in Rockville, authorities say. Firefighters arrived to the home in the 11700 block of Rocking Horse Road after reports of a fire in a single family home, around 6 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 13, according to Montgomery County Fire and Rescue. Authorities were able to extinguish the flames, that evacuated one man and one woman who were inside of the home. The man was transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
