Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

New Details, Reward Offered For Tips Leading To Fatal Hit-Run Driver In Maryland Police have released more details in a fatal hit-and-run that occurred in Howard County last week, authorities say. William Earl Shaffer, 69, was fatally struck by what police are saying was likely a white Ford Explorer SUV shortly before 10:45 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15 in the 9600 block of Washington Boulevard according to Howard County police. Attempted Killer Arrested In Baltimore After Being Linked To August Shooting A 30-year-old man is in custody after an attempted killing in Baltimore back in August, authorities say. Eric McCree was arrested on Tuesday, Sept. 20 as a suspect in the attempted murder that occurred around 1 a.m., Thursday, Aug. 18, in the 5300 block of Frankford Avenue, according to Baltimore police. The 45-year-old victim was rushed to a hospital for treatment after the shooting that left him with a gunshot wound to the hip. Family Of Man Killed Working On ATM In Maryland Ups Reward For Tips Up To $88K A massive reward of $88,000 is being offered for information on a 2021 homicide of a man who was killed while servicing ATMs in Baltimore, reports, according to multiple reports. Judge Rejects Plea Offer For Gervonta Davis After Hit And Run Left Pregnant Woman Injured A Baltimore boxing champion's plea offer to avoid jail time for a 2020 hit-and-run has been rejected by a judge and will now go to trial, reports the Baltimore Banner.
