Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Maryland Man Charged With Attempted Murder After Victims Survive Being Shot In Head, Neck A Maryland man has been arrested after being accused of attempting to kill a teenager and young man in Baltimore last spring, authorities say. Zhamiel Dixon was arrested on Wednesday, Sept. 21 in connection to the double shooting that occurred on Sunday, May 19 in the 2400 block of Edmonson Avenue, according to Baltimore police. Dixon is accused of injuring a 17-year-old boy and a 23-year old man, shooting one in the head and one in the neck. Dixon has been charged with attempted first and second-degree murder.

Child Charged After Stabbing Multiple People In Maryland Detectives have charged a minor after they allegedly stabbed at least two people in Baltimore County, authorities say. The minor is accused of attacking the victims in the 300 block of Lord Byron Lane around 7:25 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25, according to Baltimore County Cockeysville Precinct Detectives.
