19-Year-Old ATVer Drags Trooper 200 Yards While Fleeing In Capital Region, Police Say A 19-year-old man is accused of injuring a New York State Police trooper in the region while attempting to flee on an ATV. The Rensselaer County incident happened at around 5 p.m. Friday, March 1, in Sand Lake on Johnny Cake Lane. State Police said the trooper stopped Joseph Dominy, of Averill Park, for illegally operating an ATV. Dominy was reportedly uncooperative and attempted to drive away. Harry Zenonos, age 64, of Huntington Station, was last seen at his Columbia Street residence at around 6 a.m. Friday, March 1. Inmate Assaults Corrections Officer At Capital Region Jail, Police Say An inmate at a local jail is facing more charges after allegedly assaulting a corrections officer. The incident happened Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Saratoga County jail in Ballston Spa. Sheriff’s officials said Jose Guity, age 25, of Queens, kicked the officer in the ribs, injuring them. The officer was treated at an urgent care facility in Malta and was released. On Tuesday, Feb. 27, Guity was arraigned in Saratoga Springs City Court on one count of second-degree assault, a felony.
