Long Island resident Roberto Villanueva, age 65, of Huntington, was sentenced to six years behind bars Wednesday, Oct. 19, in federal court in Central Islip.  It followed his February 2022 guilty plea to charges of forced labor. 19-Year-Old Facing Felony Charges For Burglarizing Capital Region Home, Police Say A 19-year-old man is facing felony charges for allegedly breaking into a Capital Region home and stealing property. William Kelone, of Schenectady, was arrested Thursday, Oct. 13, following an investigation by the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office. Investigators said Kelone was responsible for stealing two dirt bikes from a building in Ballston, located on France Lane, that he entered illegally early on Mon, Oct. 10. 4 Charged In Shooting Death Of Pregnant Mother Of 2, Aspiring Nurse In Capital Region Formal charges have been filed against four defendants who are accused of gunning down a pregnant mother of two and aspiring nurse from the region. Shanita Thomas, of Albany, was shot and killed on Saturday Jan. 30, 2021 at a business near Central Avenue and Robin Street, according to the Albany County District Attorney’s Office. She was 35 years old.
