NJ Men Shot, 1 Killed At NYE Party Ends In Guilty Plea After 2 Convictions Overturned In PA Two men from New Jersey were shot at a New Year’s Eve party in Pennsylvania; one was seriously wounded, and another was killed  — the double shooting has now ended with a guilty plea after nearly nine years and two overturned convictions. Vyante Green, 31, of Allentown, pleaded guilty Friday to third-degree murder and aggravated assault before Lehigh County Judge Robert L. Steinberg, according to District Attorney Gavin P. Edward McVey is charged with vehicular homicide, driving under the influence and assault by auto, driving under the influence, Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey Sutherland and Lower Township Police Chief Donald Vanaman Jr. said. McVey collied with a vehicle with two occupants, killing a 56-year-old man and seriously injuring a 36-year-old man on Route 9 in Lower Township, authorities said.
