Driver Seriously Injured, Airlifted After Route 9G Crash In Rhinebeck A driver was seriously injured and airlifted to a hospital after crashing into a utility pole on a busy Dutchess County roadway, fire officials said.   The single-vehicle crash happened on Route 9G near Miller Road in Rhinebeck at around 3:14 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 6, according to the Rhinebeck Fire Department.  Arriving emergency crews found one seriously injured person trapped inside the vehicle, the department said. A medical helicopter was then requested as Rhinebeck firefighters and EMS crews worked to free the driver from the wreckage and prepare them for their trip…
