Police ID Connecticut Driver Killed After Crashing SUV On I-84 A Connecticut man died after his SUV hit an exit sign and rolled off I-84 on Wednesday morning, Sept. 23, state police said. Gregory Allen, 55, of Manchester, was driving west on I-84 near the Exit 57 ramp to Route 5/15 south in East Hartford at about 6:20 a.m. when his 2003 Honda CR-V left the highway, struck an exit sign, and rolled into the grass, Connecticut State Police said. Authorities have not determined why the SUV went off the road.  Responders rushed Allen to Hartford Hospital, where he later died of his injuries.  Connecticut State Police are investigating the crash.…
