A man threatened participants at a Special Olympics event with a hammer before defecating and throwing feces inside a holding cell, Wilkes-Barre police announced on Thursday, Sept. 4.
Matthew Fisher, 36, of Wilkes-Barre, was charged after the incident at Kirby Park on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 6:32 p.m., according to police.
