Brand-New Rankings Of NY's Wealthiest Counties May Come As Surprise A new ranking shows how New York counties stack up against one another when it comes to financial earnings. Using data from the US Census Bureau, Stacker compiled a list of the 50 highest-earning counties in New York, ranking them by 2020 5-year estimate median household income. Capital District Man Who Kept Child Porn In Folder Labeled 'Jail Bait' Sentenced A Capital District man who admitted to keeping child pornography in a computer folder labeled “jailbait” is heading to federal prison. Albany resident Christopher Pratt, age 58, was sentenced to 12 years behind bars Tuesday, July 26, in federal court in Albany. It followed his prior guilty plea to charges of receiving and distributing child pornography. In a statement Tuesday, July 26, the Midway Fire Department in Colonie announced that it was aware of the charges against Lieutenant Kevin Hart, age 25. NY Soldier Made Terroristic Threats At Army National Guard Base, Cops Say An Army National Guard soldier in Upstate New York is facing charges after allegedly threatening violence at a military base in the Capital District. New York State Police said they began investigating after a concerned soldier from the Army National Guard Base in Latham contacted them on Saturday, July 23. Mother Of 3 Among Dead Following Wrong-Way Crash In Bridgeport Two people are dead, including a mother of three, after a wrong-way driver triggered a chain reaction crash in Fairfield County. The wreck happened at around 8:30 p.m. Sunday, July 24, on Route 8 in Bridgeport, according to Connecticut State Police. Motorcyclist Killed In Capital District Crash At Age 26 Remembered As 'Goofy Soul' Support is pouring in for the family of a Capital District man who died in a motorcycle crash at the age of 26. Kevin Figueroa, of Schenectady, died from injuries sustained in the wreck that happened around 8 p.m. Thursday, July 21, in the city’s Mont Pleasant neighborhood, according to Schenectady Police.
