Police said officers in Albany were called at around 1:20 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 2 to the area of Central and Lexington avenues for reports of shots fired. When officers arrived they found two men suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Albany Police. Both victims were taken to Albany Medical Center Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said. Dutchess County resident Michael Manetta, age 54, was killed in a motorcycle crash in Columbia County on Sunday, July 31, New York State Police said. A preliminary investigation found that Manetta, of Red Hook, was riding his motorcycle on Route 7A in the town of Copake shortly before 11 a.m. when a driver cut him off while making a left turn. Albany Police said the incident occurred shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday, July 30, near South Pearl and Schuyler streets. Officers were initially called with reports of a man with a weapon. In Berkshire County, Pittsfield Police said they’re looking for Lee Walter Meisenheimer, age 69, who was last seen sometime around Wednesday, July 13.
