The incident happened in Albany County at around 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, on I-787 in the village of Menands. State police said 84-year-old Eddie Robinson, of Troy, was driving southbound when he stopped his vehicle in the center lane and got out. Calls began flooding into 911 at around 11:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27, with reports of a shooting in Troy, near 6th Avenue and 103rd Street. The wreck happened in Greene County at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, in the town of Hunter, State police said.
