Man In Vehicle Wanted In Shooting Incident Apprehended After Pursuit In Northern Westchester A man wanted by the NYPD for a shooting incident is facing charges after allegedly leading police on a highway chase through the region. The incident began at around 4:40 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26 in Northern Westchester, when Yorktown Police spotted the suspect’s vehicle heading northbound on the Taconic State Parkway. Missing 14-Year-Olds From Hudson Valley Found Update: Two teenagers who were reported missing in the Hudson Valley have been found. Ulster County residents Zachary Hull and Giana St. Hilaire, both 14 years old, had last been seen between 4:30 and 6 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, at Rondout Valley High School in Accord, the Ulster County Sheriff’s Office said. A passerby spotted the teens Wednesday evening, Sept. 28, as they walked along Berme Road in the Town of Marbletown and called 911. Waitress In Capital Region Steals Diner's Credit Card, Charges Over $1K, Police Say A waitress in the Capital Region is facing charges for allegedly stealing a customer’s credit card and then going on a shopping spree. State police in Rensselaer County were called Thursday, Sept. 22, with reports that someone had made over $1,500 in unauthorized charges to the victim’s credit card. Investigators determined that the culprit was 26-year-old Kimberly Gibson, of Castleton-on-Hudson, who works as a waitress at the Schodack Diner, located on Highway 9 in Schodack. Drunk Long Island Man With 3 Kids In Car Accused In Hit-Run Crash, Police Say A Long Island man was driving drunk with three young kids in the vehicle when he crashed into a parked car and then fled the scene, authorities said. Nassau County Police were called at around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, with reports of a car crash in New Cassel, near Elton Street and Anna Avenue. Brand-New Poll Shows How Hochul-Zeldin Race Looks As NY Gubernatorial Election Nears With a little over one month until New Yorkers choose their next governor, new polling shows that Democratic Gov. Headless Body Found In Travel Trunk Decades Ago In Hudson Valley ID'd As Woman Reported Missing Forty-two years after a New York woman’s mutilated body was found discarded in a travel trunk near a dumpster at a Hudson Valley apartment complex, investigators have finally made a positive identification. New York State Police identified the victim as Anna L. Papalardo-Blake, of New York City. She was 44 years old at the time. This Capital Region High School Ranks Among Top 50 Statewide, New Report Says A Capital Region high school is among the top 50 in New York, according to a new ranking from the school review site Niche. Shaker High School, part of the North Colonie Central School District in Latham, was ranked 50 out of 1,255 public high schools in the state with an overall grade of A+. It was ranked number one in best public high schools in the Albany area. NY Sex Offender Walks Out Of Jail, Gets Re-Arrested For New Sex Crime, Police Say Moments after completing his jail sentence for having inappropriate sexual contact with four different teenagers, a New York man was immediately re-arrested on a new sex charge, authorities said. Kyle Pascher, age 21, of Troy, was taken into custody Friday, Sept. 23, at the Rensselaer County Correctional Facility on a warrant for sexual misconduct. 2 Employees Accused Of Stealing From Walmart In Capital Region Two Walmart employees from the Capital Region are facing charges for allegedly stealing from the store. Washington County residents Brian Winchell, age 32, of Whitehall, and Vickie Dibble, age 52, of Granville, were arrested by State police Monday, Sept. 26.
