State police in Saratoga County were called at around 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, with reports of a two-car crash in Corinth on Stark Road. Man Killed In Industrial Accident In Capital Region Remembered As 'Friend You Could Count On' Friends and loved ones are mourning the loss of a man who was killed in an on-the-job accident at a rock quarry in the region. Rensselaer County resident Darren Miller, of Grafton, died Saturday, Oct. 1, at the age of 35, according to his obituary.  State police said Miller was working at R.J. Valente Gravel in Grafton at around 8:15 a.m. when a piece of equipment fell and struck him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
