Duo Busted Selling Heroin, Meth At Long Island Macy's Store, Police Say Two people are facing charges for allegedly selling drugs at a Long Island business. Jamil Dabson, age 36, and Violet Speller, age 30, both of Far Rockaway, were arrested Thursday, Nov. 3, following a narcotics investigation by Nassau County Police. Officers busted the pair at around 10:40 p.m. at the Macy’s store in Manhasset, located on Northern Boulevard, police said. New Survey Reveals Gen Z’s Favorite Restaurant When it comes to satisfying those hunger pangs, it turns out nothing does it for Zoomers quite like the delectably irresistible taste of America’s favorite chicken shack. 3 Employees Busted Selling Alcohol To Minors At Long Island Stores, Police Say Three employees at Long Island businesses are facing charges for allegedly selling alcohol to minors. Suffolk County Police conducted an investigation into six businesses in Nesconset and Smithtown after getting complaints from citizens, the department said. Officers visited the business on Thursday, Nov. 3, between 8 and 10 p.m. Of the six businesses audited, three stores were busted selling alcohol to minors, police said. Aling Wang, age 32, and Xiuhua Lei, age 54, both of Queens, were arrested by Nassau County Police on Wednesday, Nov. 2. NY Doctor Sentenced for Filing False Tax Returns, Ordered To Pay $245,212 A New York doctor will avoid prison after admitting that he filed false tax returns. Albany County resident Ehab Kodsi, age 56, of Watervliet, was sentenced to pay $245,212 in restitution and pay an additional $25,000 fine Thursday, Nov. 3, in federal court in Albany. The sentence followed Kodsi’s guilty plea to filing a false tax return and admission that he deliberately underreported revenue from both his pain management company in Queensbury, in Warren County, and his real estate company between 2015 and 2018.
