Seen Him? Police Issue Alert For Missing Man From Capital Region Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a man from the region who was reported missing. Glenn Crews, age 26, of Greene County, may be in the Hudson area in Columbia County, according to a Facebook post from the Hudson City Police Department on Wednesday, Feb. 15. The department said his friends are concerned for his well being. Police did not immediately say when the man was last seen. Drunk Driver Who Led Troopers On High-Speed Chase On LI Highway Before Crash Sentenced A man who led troopers on a high-speed chase on a Long Island highway while drunk and high on marijuana before crashing his car is heading to prison. Bentley Butler, age 35, of Rosedale, Queens, was sentenced to between two and seven years behind bars in Nassau County Court on Tuesday, Feb. 14. Residents Chase Early-Morning Burglar From Long Island Home, Police Say A 56-year-old burglar was chased away by residents after breaking into a Long Island home and stealing belongings, authorities said. The incident happened shortly before 3 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 5, in Southampton, at a home located on Big Fresh Pond Lane, according to Southampton Town Police. Detectives said Anthony Wilson, of Southampton, entered the home through a ground floor window before stealing an expensive pocket watch and cash. Mountain Rescue: Rangers Carry Injured Hiker Mile To Safety In Capital Region Forest rangers carried an injured hiker a mile to safety after the hiker suffered an ankle injury in the Catskill Mountains. The hours-long rescue operation began at around 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11 in Greene County, according to the state Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC). A man walking his bicycle was struck and killed by a car in an early morning crash on Long Island. Michael Robbins, age 27, of Schenectady, pleaded guilty to attempted coercion and enticement of a minor in federal court in Albany on Monday, Feb. 13.
