Alert Issued For 16-Year-Old Fairfield Girl Missing Over Week Police are asking for help in locating a Connecticut teenager who has been missing for over a week. Jomana Ali, age 16, was last seen on Elm Street in the town of Fairfield at around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 2. Police said Ali may have traveled out of state and could have been in the New York/New Jersey area at some point on Wednesday, July 3. The teen is 5-foot-4 and 140 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black Lululemon pants and black sneakers. Long Island 'Dance Instructor' Sought Sexual Photos From 10-Year-Old Girls, DA Says A Long Island man is accused of posing as a dance instructor in order to solicit sexual photos from young girls. Taner Ocal, age 22, of Lindenhurst, was arraigned on 30 criminal counts, including possessing child pornography, in Suffolk County Court on Thursday, July 11. According to prosecutors, Ocal contacted two 10-year-old girls in Texas on Instagram in June 2024 while pretending to be a dance instructor.  He allegedly asked them to film themselves dancing and later requested that they send him sexually explicit photos of themselves, prosecutors said. Saratoga County resident Jaylee Lyn Lawless, of Saratoga Springs, was last seen on Monday, July 1. Police said Lawless may have traveled to New York City or out of state. The teen is 5-foot-6 and 180 pounds, with red hair and blue eyes. She has numerous ear piercings and two nose piercings. The Dutchess County incident happened at around 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 5, in the Town of Poughkeepsie’s Arlington neighborhood.
