A 292-unit luxury residential community in on Long Island has sold for $190 million.
JLL Capital Markets secured the sale of The Arboretum, located at 20 Maple Ln. in Farmingville, according to a release from the company issued Monday, March 2.
The buyer was an affiliate of The Inland Real Estate Group of Companies, Inc., with Matthew Tice, senior vice president of Inland Real Estate Acquisitions, LLC, facilitating the purchase on behalf of the Inland affiliate. JLL represented the seller, BRP Companies, in the transaction, officials said.

Plans to locate a federal immigration detention facility in Orange County have reportedly been halted, according to State Assemblymember Brian Maher’s office.
Maher, who represents New York's 101st Assembly District, which includes parts of Orange, Sullivan, and Ulster counties, announced Friday, Feb. 20, that US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials told him they will not move forward with a Chester warehouse site following a review process.

School Employee Accused Of Inappropriate Touching At Lawrence High School: Detectives
A school employee is accused of inappropriately touching a student at Lawrence High School in Cedarhurst, detectives announced on Tuesday, Feb. 10.
Officers responded to a 911 call at the school, located at 2 Reilly Road, around 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10, after a victim reported the alleged incident to a school administrator, according to Fourth Squad detectives.
Following what detectives described as a thorough investigation, Constantine Theodosiou, 59, of Cedarhurst, was arrested, authorities said.
