Infant, 2 Kids Found In Car After Drunk-Driving Crash On Long Island, Police Say A 33-year-old man is facing charges following a suspected drunk driving crash on Long Island involving three children. Nassau County Police officers were called just before 10 p.m. Monday, Jan. 9, with reports of a crash in Glen Head on Robert Road. Investigators determined that Cornelio Bonilla Villatoro was driving a Honda Pilot when he struck a parked Kia. No other vehicles were involved. Winning $1M Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Capital Region A winning lottery ticket worth $1 million was sold at a convenience store in the region. New York Lottery officials announced that the second-prize winning Mega Millions ticket from the drawing on Friday, Jan. 6, was purchased in Rensselaer County at the Stewart’s Shops in Troy, located on Vandenburgh Avenue. Cats Left In Frigid Car For Days By Capital Region Teen, Police Say An 18-year-old woman from the region is facing animal cruelty charges after allegedly leaving two cats locked in a car for days during frigid overnight temperatures, authorities said. Yemeena Anderson, of Albany, was arrested following an investigation by the Albany Police Special Operations Unit. Drunk Driver Causes Serious Injury Crash On Southern State Parkway, Police Say A 28-year-old man is facing multiple charges for a suspected drunk driving crash on Long Island that sent another driver to the hospital. State Police troopers were called just after 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, with reports of a crash on the westbound Southern State Parkway in East Farmingdale, near Broadhollow Road. Fentanyl, Cocaine Found During Long Island Traffic Stop, Police Say A 22-year-old man is facing drug charges following a traffic stop on Long Island, authorities said. Nassau County Police officers stopped Shadon Chestnut, of Queens, at around 11:20 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 8, as he drove near Burnside Avenue and Doughty Boulevard in Inwood. Albany County resident Shandell Scott, age 32, of New Scotland, was arrested by State Police on Tuesday, Jan. 3. NY Engineer Sentenced For Stealing GE's Trade Secrets To Benefit China A New York engineer is heading to federal prison for conspiring to steal General Electric’s trade secrets to benefit the Chinese government. Schenectady County resident Xiaoqing Zheng, age 59, of Niskayuna, was sentenced to two years behind bars in federal court in Albany on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
