IRS Launches New Tool To Help Taxpayers: How It Works
The Internal Revenue Service has launched a new app to give taxpayers more ways to manage their accounts.
The agency has replaced its longtime IRS2Go app with a new IRS app that includes expanded access to refunds, payments, notices, tax records, and other account information. The app launched on Friday, Sept. 25.
Taxpayers can use it to check the status of refunds and amended returns, view balances, make payments, and review payment activity. They can also access certain notices, letters, tax records, and transcripts.

A longtime South Jersey restaurant is closing its doors after 19 years in business.
T.W. Howells, located at 341 W. White Horse Pike in Pomona, announced it will permanently close at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, according to a notice posted by the restaurant.
“After 19 wonderful years in business, we are saddened to announce the closure of T. W. Howells on October 2, 2026, at 2:00PM.”
The restaurant thanked its customers, staff, suppliers, friends, and community members for nearly two decades of support.
