The outbreak happened on the National Geographic Sea Bird, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said. The Lindblad Expeditions voyage along the Alaskan coast began on Wednesday, July 15, and ended on Monday, July 20. Eight of the 57 passengers aboard the ship reported becoming ill during the voyage.
