Early Sunday morning, Sept. 20, Welther Briggs was struck by a vehicle traveling south on Route 130 at the intersection of Pennypacker Drive in Edgewater Park, Edgewater Park Township police said. Briggs was pronounced dead, police said. Huseyin Ozkok is charged with driving while suspended or unlicensed and causing death or injury, police said. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
