Patients Remember NJ Family Doctor Who Delivered Babies Anywhere, Anytime Jeremy Clarke Hewens, MD, a family physician who cared for patients in Milford and the surrounding Delaware Valley for more than 35 years, died at his home in Holland Township, New Jersey, on Sunday, Oct. 4, at the age of 76. He was surrounded by family (scroll down for tributes). Jeremy was born on November 12, 1949, in Dover, New Jersey, to Blanche and Francis Hewens. Ian Patterson, a Fort Stewart, Georgia, native who served for 15 years, died after falling during a demonstration at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, Oct. 17.
