Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Police Release Name Of Young Baltimore Man Fatally Shot In Head Police have identified the young man fatally shot in the head in Baltimore, authorities say. Tremaine Thomas, Jr., 26, was found with gunshot wounds to the head around 11 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 11, in the 3900 block of S. Hanover Street, according to Baltimore police. Medics rushed to Thomas, who was pronounced dead on the scene. Homicide detectives responded out and are investigating this murder. Maryland Man Recovering After Being Shot In Buttocks In Strange Attack A man is recovering after being shot in the buttocks in an early morning Baltimore attack, authorities say. The 32-year-old victim was found by police after officers responded to a shot spotter alert around 5:30 a.m., Monday, Dec. 12 in the 1300 block of Washington Boulevard, according to Baltimore police. Virginia Homeowner Accused Of Repeatedly Sexually Abusing Minor, Police Say A man accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a minor has been arrested, authorities say. Jeffrey Lynn Parker, 54, was arrested on Wednesday, Dec. 7 after reportedly sexually assaulting the minor in two homes belonging to Parker, one in the Triangle area of Prince William County, and the other in Woodbridge between July 2020 and September 2021, according to Prince William County police. Fairfax Police Officer Airlifted To Hospital After Motorcycle Crash Lanes were blocked near George Mason University following a motorcycle crash involving a Fairfax police officer, authorities say. The crash happened at Braddock Road and Roanoke Road around 1 p.m., Friday, Dec, 9. The officer involved has been rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, according to Fairfax police.
