Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Police found the victim after responding to reports of a cutting in the 1700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue on the afternoon of Wednesday, Jan. 18, according to Baltimore police. Accused Child Rapist Captured By Virginia Police A Manassas man has been charged with rape after allegedly sexually assaulting a child on numerous occasions, authorities say. Jose Luis Mora Garcia, 58, reportedly assaulted the child, who was under the age of 13 at the time of the offenses, multiple times between November and December 2022 at a home in Manassas, according to Prince William County police. Garcia has been charged with rape and aggravated sexual battery.  He is being held without bond.

Young Driver Killed In Violent Odenton Crash: Police One person has died after a single vehicle crash into a utility pole in Odenton, authorities say. Derrell Amir Walker, 20, suffered fatal injuries after crashing into the pole on Crain Highway near St. Stephen's Church Road around 5:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 16, according to Anne Arundel County police.
