Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Teen Shot In Hand By Unknown Man Behind Baltimore Building, Police Say A teen is recovering after being shot in the hand and in the leg in Baltimore, authorities say. The 17-year-old checked himself into an area hospital after the incident, around 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 1, according to Baltimore police. The teen, who had gunshot wounds to his hand and leg, was reportedly in the rear of the 1600 block of Argonne Avenue when an unknown man approached him and opened fire.
