Annie is a proud alumna of Purdue University, with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Anthropology. She began her journalism career in front of a camera, reporting news across the Midwest.

Annie’s passion for journalism began back in high school during her time in Youth In Government, where she served as as reporter and press editor for several years. She is proud to have pursued her childhood dream of becoming a journalist. From breaking news to archery on horseback to hanging out with kangaroos, Annie is grateful to share the stories and events of those around her.

In her free time, Annie enjoys showing her horses and watching sports. The only granddaughter of Indiana Pacer’s founder Chuck DeVoe and stepdaughter of Purdue Men’s Basketball Announcer and former player Ralph Taylor, Annie’s love for Indiana basketball runs deep.

A US history buff, Annie is proud to provide news to the Capitol region.

Maryland State Police Investigating Fatal Two-Vehicle I-95 Crash A North Carolina man is dead after a tractor-trailer crash in Howard County, authorities say. Jonathan David Leiner, 63, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash that occurred around 4:40 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 7 on northbound I-95 in Laurel, according to Maryland State Police. Leiner was driving a tractor-trailer when he reportedly rear-ended a parked tractor-trailer on the interstate, just south of Gorman Road. Leiner was killed in the collision. The curfew aims to keep kids off the streets at night after August alone saw 24 murders investigated by police, states Prince George's County Executive Angela Alsobrooks.
