Fake Missing Child Post Circulates On Social Media In Hudson Valley Authorities are warning residents not to fall for a false social media post claiming that a child is missing in the Hudson Valley.  According to the Carmel Police Department in Putnam County, the fake post alleges that there is a missing 14-year-old child in Mahopac.  The post comes from a page that repeatedly posts scam and hoax messages, the department said.  In a screenshot of the post released by the department, the account that posted it was identified as "Jane Booger."

Several Traffic Lights Malfunctioning On Saw Mill River Parkway Between Yonkers, Dobbs Ferry Motorists should be careful as several malfunctioning traffic lights are repaired on a busy parkway in Westchester.  In an announcement on Monday, July 8 around 4 p.m., the Westchester County Police Department warned that several traffic lights are malfunctioning on the Saw Mill River Parkway between Executive Boulevard in Yonkers and Lawrence Street in Dobbs Ferry.  Officers are now helping with traffic control while Department of Transportation crews work to make repairs.  Motorists are asked to use caution on the parkway for the next few hours, police said.
