A 41-year-old Atlantic City man pleaded guilty to attacking his girlfriend while she slept, authorities announced Wednesday, April 15.
Calvin Gunn pleaded guilty to aggravated assault on Monday, April 6, and is expected to be sentenced to five years in prison, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
Last September, a woman said Gunn entered her home while she was sleeping and attacked her, striking her multiple times in the head and face area, authorities said. As a result of that assault, the victim sustained persistent ringing in her ear, authorities said.
