Most Common Medications Used By US Adults Revealed In New Study
Many Americans reach for medicine far more often than they may realize, according to a new national survey that highlights just how common weekly medication use has become. A study published in JAMA Network Open found that 62.3 percent of US adults reported taking at least one over-the-counter or prescription medication in the past seven days. That amounts to well over 100 million people. Researchers also found that medication use can quickly add up.
