Jose Castro, 48, was charged with third-degree assault for the fight inside a Hampton Bays home on Sunday night, July 19, the Southampton Town Police Department said.

A vehicle fire spread to a popular East Meadow bar early Saturday morning, July 18, shutting down Newbridge Road in both directions as firefighters and hazardous materials crews responded, authorities said.
