Motorcyclist, 63, Killed After Harley Crashes Into Rock In Sussex County
A 63-year-old motorcyclist from Sussex County was killed in a motorcycle crash in Sussex County on Tuesday afternoon, June 9, New Jersey State Police said. Stephen Paino, of Newton, was operating a Harley-Davidson motorcycle eastbound on County Road 622 east when he veered off the roadway, struck a rock, and overturned at milepost 1.5 in Hampton Township just before 3 p.m., according to Sgt. Jeffrey Lebron Paino was killed. The crash remains under investigation. No additional information was released.

Child Struck By Vehicle While On Bicycle In East Rutherford
A child riding a bicycle was struck by a vehicle in East Rutherford on Monday afternoon, June 8, police said. East Rutherford police responded to the area of Paterson Avenue and Oak Street at approximately 4:45 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a bicyclist, according to Capt. Jeff Yannacone. The juvenile was taken to Hackensack University Medical Center with minor injuries, Yannacone said. The child was discharged from the hospital shortly after arriving, according to Yannacone.
